Rhabdomyosarcoma Resources
I tried to make the background on this page from a microscopic view of rhabdomyosarcoma.  It was so disgusting and ugly, I opted to give you this restful star field instead.  I'll include a small picture at the bottom of this page, so you can see what I mean.  I've liked having the image; it helped me get a mental picture of the monster Joseph was fighting.

I put up this page so that anyone researching rhabdo can find to the best resources immediately, without having to poke around through the search engines.  Knowledge is power, get all of it you can.

The National Cancer Institute's Childhood Cancer Pages

It doesn't get any more complete than this.  Diagnosis information, treatments, clinical trials, etc..

Latest NCI/PDQ Physician Statement on Rhabdomyosarcoma

Latest NCI/PDQ Patient's Statement on Rhabdomyosarcoma

Less detailed information on rhabdo than the physician's statement, but still helpful.

Children's Oncology Group Soft Tissue Sarcoma Committee

Good, basic information on rhabdo from the physician group formerly known as the Intergroup Rhabdo Study
            Group.

American Cancer Society Pages on Rhabdomyosarcoma

Terrific, detailed pages on all aspects of rhabdo biology, diagnosis, and treatment.

Non-Orbital Rhabdomyosarcoma of the Head and Neck

An online article from Baylor College of Medicine.

This is what rhabdo looks like when the
pathologist puts it under the microscope.
If you should happen to come upon this
fiend on your life's journey, kill it, kill it
DEAD DEAD DEAD.
